The thing with Delhi is you can’t be here and stay off revelling in its cuisine. North Indian food is a palate’s delight ranging from the tangy gol gappas to paranthas, chicken tangdi, and a gamut of vegetarian and non-veg delights.
I have tested the waters with endless North Indian restaurant in Delhi which has, left me more bemused, than sorted. Ambience aside, there is very little to choose between eateries in Delhi. From roadside setups to the small-to-lavish dhabas, nearly every eatery has its own way and style of playing with your palate. And they’re phenomenally good at it!

Truth be told, location matters little to the real foodie when it comes to a sumptuous mouthful, all they want is scrumptious dishes from north Indian cuisine in Delhi. It’s all but a question of ‘what’s on the spread’. And Delhi is a darling because it surprises you all the time with a parantha wali gali, Chandni Chowk, Delhi Haat, and the countless joints it throws at you.
So while parantha gali is your place finding the most stuffings eased between expertly done flapped flour layers, Chandni Chowk puts an end to your craving for a non-veg spread. Being the best at their servings comes naturally to every joint in Delhi and these areas are no exceptions.
Then there is this place almost held scared by Tibetan cuisines lovers. Majnu ka Tila, slightly odd for a name for a small place marked by Tibetan population, known only by true lovers of Chinese and Tibetan cuisine, serves you the most astonishing fusion of Indo-Chinese and authentic Tibetan dishes. The only thing you need going for you is a huge appetite.
It is also one of the few places in Delhi that opens up to Japanese food lovers like no other. Looking for a Sushi? You know where to hunt!
Ganbatte!!
